USLA Northwest Region Open Water Lifeguard Competition

The Redwood Coast Chapter of the United States Lifesaving Association will host the 2026 Northwest Region USLA Lifesaving Competition at Doran Beach on July 15, 2026.

Lifeguards from across the region—including teams from Washington, Oregon, Lake Tahoe, and the East Bay—will compete in a full slate of ocean and beach events that showcase professional lifesaving skills. Competition will begin at 9:00 AM.

Team leaders and coaches are asked to ensure all participants are current members of the United States Lifesaving Association and to have proof of membership available at check-in.
